T-Mobile customer and not receiving our verification codes?

Some T-Mobile customers have reported to us that they are unable to receive essential messages from our ATMs. Athena ATMs send out verification codes to phone numbers entered by our customers as part of the login process. If you don't receive these codes you can't continue with your purchase or sale.

Thanks to a couple of very helpful customers who were affected by this problem, we have learned that it is an unintentional block of short code numbers to some customers’ phones. This can be fixed by calling T-Mobile customer support or using your online support options.

For example, one lady solved her issue the following way:

  1. Log into your my.t-mobile.com account

  2. Select Support and start a chat session

  3. Describe to T-Mobile that you can not receive SMS messages from Athena short code 57716

They were able to correct this block within minutes in both cases.

In the meantime, please give us a call at 312-690-4466 while at the ATM between 9 am - 5 pm CT and we can provide you with your verification code over the phone.

We're sorry for the inconvenience this has caused some of our customers, but you should be able to get this fixed for your phone number and resume normal activity at our ATMs.
